Just a beautiful wine: rich, balanced, complex and flavorful. Medium lemon color, medium plus body, medium alcohol. Pronounced aromatics and flavors of citrus blossom, tart lemon, green apple, a touch of lime zest, sweet vanilla, oak spice, and rain covered salty rock. Clearly judicious use of oak, and either no or partial MF given the acidic structure, which balances the fruits and supports a very long finish. Seems to still be developing and should cellar well for another 5-8 years. Made in a more Burgundian, Cote de Beaune style.
