2015 Riecine Toscana Rosso (750ml)
Riecine is a historic estate in Gaiole in Chianti founded in 1971. They have about 30 hectares of organically farmed vineyards located in Gaiole, one of the highest quality communes within Chianti Classico, that sit between 430 and 600 meters above sea level. Their annual bottle production is only about 70,000. They are known for producing wines of elegance and finesse often compared to Burgundy.
"A very soft and juicy red with cooked-plum, cedar and toffee aromas and flavors. Medium body. Fine tannins and a creamy textured finish. Shows finesse and intensity. Always an exciting red. Drink or hold. 94 points" - James Suckling (July 2019)
