Big Table Farm’s appellation wine blends fruit from a number of its old-vine vineyard sources. It’s slightly less structured than the 2017 Earth cuvée (also recommended), but it’s no less expressive or generous. It’s jumping with energy, saturating the palate with notes of smoke and warm macerated cherries, and with enough savor to remain complex. Chill it for a summer picnic.  (10/2019)

Enticing, fragrant complexity with ripe, boysenberry and red-cherry notes, married to a plush palate that has an attractive, balanced and velvety feel. Long, fresh-fruit flavors hold smoothly. Drink or hold.  (7/2019)

Deep scarlet. An incisive, intensely perfumed nose displays fresh red berry, cherry and floral scents and a building spicy overtone. Sharply focused and seamless in the mouth, offering finely detailed raspberry, cherry and rose pastille flavors that deepen and spread out with air. The floral and spice notes repeat emphatically on the silky finish, which clings with strong, red-fruit-driven tenacity. (JR)  (8/2020)

It's easy to see why Big Table Farm is quickly acquiring cult status. This is its big production Pinot Noir, with an artful label celebrating the winery pigs, Henrietta and Reina. The balance from first sniff to last swallow is spot-on, melding rhubarb, raspberry jam and pie cherry fruit with racy acidity. The tannins are fine and polished, with a trail of black tea running through the finish. *Editors' Choice* (PG)  (10/2019)

Combines polish with structure, offering delicate raspberry, spice and forest floor accents that build richness toward broad-shouldered tannins. Drink now through 2026. (TF)  (9/2019)
