We accept online orders for wine shipping to most states, however, due to changing direct-shipping laws and regulations, the list of states that we ship to may change at any time. We will contact you by email if your order is negatively affected by new shipping regulations. All wines are sold in California and title passes to the buyer in California. We make no representation as to the rights of anyone to import wine into any state outside of California. The Wine Club, Inc. takes reasonable precautions to ensure safe, temporary storage/staging of purchased goods as, from time to time, requested by our customers. The Wine Club Inc. assumes no liability whatsoever for any loss, deterioration or damage to the goods stored or staged, caused by conditions beyond its control, including but not limited to acts of God, government restrictions, wars, insurrections, natural disasters or the reckless, negligent or intentional acts of third parties.
It is our goal to process and ship all orders as quickly as possible. Most orders will be processed within 24-48 hours of being placed. There are several factors that contribute to when you will receive your order once it has been placed.
The timing in which your order is processed is determined by the accuracy of the information provided on the order, when the order is placed, order volume, and stock availability.
It is imperative that all information included on the order is complete and accurate. Incomplete or inaccurate billing or shipping information on orders will result in a delay in processing and additional shipping charges.
Since wine is vulnerable to extremes in temperature, and we have no control over the conditions of a carrier's warehousing facility, the day in which your order is processed may affect when you receive it. Orders placed in the later part of the week may be held until the beginning of the following week.
If your order includes an item that is temporarily out-of-stock, but due to arrive within a few days, it will be delayed in an effort to ship the complete order. In that event we will attempt to notify you by e-mail of the delay.
Extreme weather conditions can affect your wine. High temperatures may cause your wine to leak or extreme cold can freeze your wine during shipment. Please keep in mind that the The Wine Club is not responsible for, and will not replace, wine that is damaged by extreme weather conditions. By placing an online order you are accepting the responsibility for that shipment through whatever weather conditions may occur during that shipment. If you live in an area where the current ambient temperature is near freezing in Winter or above 75 degrees in Summer we suggest you select either 1 or 2 day shipping, as opposed to Ground, and be absolutely sure that an adult is available to sign for the shipment when it arrives on the scheduled day.
If you are experiencing extreme temperatures now but would still like to order wines, you can do so and choose to delay shipment until the weather breaks. Please just let us know by writing us a note in the "Special Shipping Instructions" Box during the Checkout process.
Although the online inventory is always being maintained and updated, there are certain situations that may occur that are out of our control. Given the high volume nature of our business and the finite availability of some wines, please be aware that without notice there may be a vintage change or an out-of-stock situation with any of the wines that you order. Should that happen we would notify you by e-mail before your order is processed.
All prices are subject to change without notice. Availability is subject to stock on hand. We are not responsible for typographical errors and reserve the right to correct any errors in pricing. We also reserve the right to limit quantities.
Library Wines are non-refundable. We take great care in determining their provenance. However, the aging of any wine is unpredictable. Thank you for your understanding.
